Mariah Carey is first artist with No.1 hit on Billboard Hot 100 in four different decades

Mariah Carey has done something that no other artist has ever accomplished.

Her 1994 hit "All I Want for Christmas is You" has become the first song to be number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in four different decades.

Carey released a new video to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the song on December 20th.

According to Billboard, the Christmas classic had over 72 million streams last week, one of only eight songs in history to have that many.

The Billboard Hot 100 data combines radio airplay, sales and streaming data.

Other artists have had songs that were on top of the charts in three decades, including Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Brittany Spears, and Usher, but Carey is the only one who's done it in four.

Carey took to Twitter to celebrate the accomplishment by saying: "Yaaaaaaaaay!!! WE. DID. IT. But... what's a decade?"
