The Florida Department of Environmental Protection issued a pollution notice for a sanitary sewer overflow of 500 gallons.
According to the department, 300 gallons leaked into a retention pond in Lake Charleston Harbor Point in Lake Worth.
The area has been cleaned with lime and "No Swimming" and "No Fishing" signs have been posted near the pond, the DEP said.
The department says it will be conducting tests to figure out the quality of the water.
