A mother from central Florida is facing child neglect charges after neighbors found her young son wandering in the street, carrying a set of car keys and a cigarette lighter.

Deputies from the Pasco Sheriff's Office had to rouse 20-year-old Laura Hager from her slumber on Sunday morning to tell her about her son. Neighbors scooped him up around 11 a.m. Authorities are not sure how long the boy was wandering outside alone but Hager said she last saw him around 7:15 a.m. He was found wearing a dirty diaper and T-shirt.

According to the sheriff's office, Hager told deputies her boy knew how to unlock doors.
