Brightline is set to stop using the "Virgin Trains" branding after its parent company terminated a licensing agreement with Virgin Enterprises Limited.

Brightline says Virgin is disputing the validity of the termination notice.

The company will change its name to Brightline Trains LLC following the expiration of the applicable notice period for the name changes under the senior load agreement, the company said in its monthly report released on Friday.

According to the report, Brightline's additional inline station in Boca Raton continues to progress. The Boca Raton station is well-advanced from a design and engineering perspective and Brightline says it is in the process of reviewing the latest designs with the architects and engineers. The PortMiami station negotiations have stalled slightly due to COVID-19 impacts.
