Two dozen people are out of harm's way thanks to the help of a cruise ship.

The Carnival Sensation came across the small craft in international waters 37 miles off the coast of Palm Beach on Saturday.

Cruise line crews provided life jackets, blankets food, and water to all 24 people on board. Cruise line officials say the people on board were of different nationalities and included two children.

Crew workers brought the occupants on board when the boat began taking water. The 24 individuals were evaluated by the cruise's medical team and were quarantined away from crew members.

The U.S. Coast Guard and all other appropriate authorities were contacted and the coast guard retrieved the two dozen individuals.

Carnival Cruise Line is currently on pause because of the coronavirus pandemic. Cruise ships are operating with limited crew members and no guests on board.
