Gov. DeSantis is back in South Florida for an announcement.

The governor made a stop at the C-44 Reservoir in Indiantown to talk about an Everglades restoration project.

That included the release of water into the stormwater area that will help clean more than 46 billion gallons of water bound for the St. Lucie estuary each year.

Earlier this week, DeSantis stopped in Stuart to unveil the debut of a new website to monitor the comprehensive effort to improve the water quality in Florida.
