John Joseph Cacciatore, of Boynton Beach, was heading west on Boynton Beach Boulevard, approaching the traffic Light at Cedar Point, according to the sheriff's office. Emmanuel Duclair, also of Boynton Beach, was driving east on Boynton Beach Boulevard at the same time.

When Cacciatore got to the light, he made a left turn, violating Duclair's right of way, the sheriff's office said. Cacciatore was taken to Delray Medical Center while Duclair and his female passenger were taken to Bethesda West.

Cacciatore later died from his injuries.
