Scott: 'You can't hide from storm surge'

Florida Governor Rick Scott is urging families in the target zone of Hurricane Michael to evacuate and heed warnings from emergency leaders.

Scott spoke Tuesday morning from Tallahassee, one of several cities expected to get major winds and flooding from Michael.

Scott said the impacts from Michael should start hitting the Panhandle area later in the day.

Hurricane Michael is expected to be a potential Category 3 storm before hitting the Florida Panhandle.
