St. Lucie County offices and attractions are returning to normal operations today, Wednesday, Sept. 13. However, there are still some facilities without power or with extensive cleanup efforts. Please call to make sure the facility that you are planning to visit is open before heading there.

St. Lucie County’s Ocean Rescue returned to duty at Pepper Park and Waveland beaches. Heavy winds and rough surfs will continue throughout the week, so beachgoers are urged to use extreme caution along the coastline.

Most county parks, preserves and mosquito impoundments still have debris cleanup efforts underway, so residents are asked to refrain from visiting outdoor attractions, until they have been cleared.
