Happening this weekend: Santa Claus is coming to town, go on a magic carpet ride and more

Planning your weekend just got a lot easier! Here's your weekly guide to what's happening this weekend in our area.

Palm Beach County

  • Screen on the Green - Get ready to watch a remake of a Disney classic in a theater under the stars. The West Palm Beach waterfront will transform for the monthly Screen on the Green event where families will watch Disney's newest version of Aladdin. That's at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and it's free.
  • Welcome Santa Claus - It's already time to welcome Santa! He'll be riding into the Mall at Wellington Green at 6 p.m. Friday. Bring the kids for a pajama party with their favorite holiday characters all for free. Photos are an extra charges.

Martin County

The biggest sidewalk sale of the season is coming this weekend.

You'll find anything you can think of from a variety of stores marked down for this twice a year event.

The Shopapalooza Fall Sidewalk Sale takes place in downtown Stuart Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

St. Lucie County

The 34th annual Muster and Music Festival, honoring 75 years since D-Day, starts Friday just north of Fort Pierce.

It features a weekend jam-packed with races, Navy SEAL and K-9 demonstrations, live music and more.

The event takes place at the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum, 3300 N. State Road A1A.

Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older, $5 for kids 6 through 12 and free for ages 5 and younger.

Indian River County

There's some good food and entertainment in store for you at the 17th annual Sebastian Clambake.

The event features fresh seafood booths, historic reenactments and live music.

The Clambake starts Friday and runs through Sunday.
