High pressure both surface and aloft will control our weather through Sunday. Sinking air and an Easterly steering flow will push any afternoon storms to the West Coast. This means plenty of sunshine for Southeast Floirda with only a 20% chance for a shower on Saturday and 30% on Sunday. Any showers that would occur will be near the coast in the morning..blowing well inland later in the day. Expect normal highs in the mid to upper 80s with 90 or so West of the Florida Turnpike.
Beginning Monday, tropical moisture returns to Florida. Rain chances increase to 40% Monday and 50% by Tuesday and Wednesday.
So, after a well timed holiday weekend reprieve in our stormy pattern, the rain and storms return in earnest next week. In the meantime, make it a great weekend!
