Three police officers are hurt following a shooting in Miami.

According to investigators, Miami-Dade Police received a number of 911 calls about shots being fired near a home along SW 89 Terrace.

The first officers on scene found shell casings in a backyard. As officers entered the home, they confronted a man with a gun and shots rang out.

Police said the man barricaded himself in the home before surrendering to police.

Three police officers suffered injuries. Paramedics with the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue treated the officers on scene.

The suspect was not hurt. Police identified him as 32-year-old Aramis Khosravi of Miami. He's charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement murder.

Police said Khosravi called 911 to say he shot at the officers because they shot at him.
