More storms on tap for Wednesday Afternoon and evening. Persistent W-SW steering level flow, deep tropical moisture and the collision of both West Coast and East Coast Sea breezes will lead to the formation of numerous showers and thunderstorms.
Activity will get going in the early afternoon (1 p.m. to 2 p.m.) and last into the early or mid evening.
Torrential slow-moving downpours can cause localized street, neighborhood and highway flooding. Flood advisories will likely be issued for some communities.
Frequent lightning and strong wind gusts can also occur.
