People in Palm Beach County and Martin County enjoyed beaches Saturday morning, despite them being closed and Hurricane Isaias approaching.

Officials in the Town of Palm Beach are reminding people that the beaches in the area are closed.

“It’s really great out this morning. It’s really nice. The sun came up, it wasn’t a lot of cloud coverage so it looks good so far,” said Christy Conway, who took a walk on Hutchinson Island.

People were out walking, biking, surfing, and swimming.

“I like it. It’s exciting. We’re going to be flying kites later probably. It’s good,” said Christian Plourd, who was walking on Jupiter's beach.

Beach-goers tell CBS12 News after how 2020 has gone, a category one hurricane doesn't seem that concerning.

“I'm not too worried about it. It’s only a category one or two," said Caleb Kidwell, who went swimming in the Jupiter Inlet Saturday morning.
