A teen girl is out of the hospital after being critically injured by a hit-and-run driver.

Fort Pierce Police are still looking for the pickup truck that hit 15-year-old Jayda Murphy last month as she roller skated down the street near her grandmother's house on South 17th Street and Emerald Terrace.

After the crash, doctors put Jayda in a medically -induced coma. She remained in the pediatric intensive care unit until last week. On Tuesday night, Jayda went home to continue her recovery.

Anyone with information on the pickup truck, described by police as possibly dark-colored with front-end damage, should call Crime Stoppers at 800-273-TIPS. You'll remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest.
