Therapist accused of using hypnosis to sexually batter teen in Port St. Lucie found dead

Robert Medina, the 69-year-old therapist accused of using hypnosis to sexually batter teen, was found dead, Port St. Lucie police said.

Police say on Sept. 11, they went to Medina's residence to make contact. However, officers found the front door was locked.

A property manager then opened the door to let them inside, according to police. When they got inside, they found Medina dead with apparent self-inflicted knife wounds.
