Three people arrested in connection to Port St. Lucie armed robbery, home invasion

Three people were arrested this week in connection with an armed robbery and home invasion, Port St. Lucie police said.

Roy L. Stevens, 24, of Stuart, 20-year-old Amanda Singer, of Port St. Lucie, and 18-year-old Dontia Casillas, of Stuart, were taken into custody Wednesday, according to police. The trio were involved in a home invasion and armed robbery that happened the night of Nov. 4 on SW Culpepper Avenue.

All three were charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and armed burglary to a dwelling.

Detectives are still actively investigating the case.
