New developments about a wild night on the dancefloor that turned into a lawsuit.
Two young ladies have told Roxy’s nightclub they want to go to trial.
The attorney for Roxy’s nightclub does not want to comment. But the attorney for the girls says they’ve turned down settlements( a grand a piece.)
More important than money, the attorney says, they want to make sure this never happens again, according to their attorney.
Jeff Luhrsen represents the two 19-year-old plantiffs.
Luhrsen says the owners of Roxy's on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach offered cash settlements to avoid going to court, but those settlements were rejected.
The two women filed a lawsuit against Roxy's after some triple X rated shenanigans happened inside the club.
The night in question was Oct. 15, 2017.
Due to the ages of the plantiffs, we aren't reporting names, but the suit alleges bartenders gave the young women free vodka cranberry cocktails knowing they were under legal drinking age, then, management never intervened as employees and patrons videoed them simulating sex on the dance floor while naked.
The suit details how the exotic dance moves wound up on the internet. Briefly on Roxy's own Facebook page, porn sites then took and published the footage.
The video is too graphic to show on television.
Roxy's announced four employees were fired after the dirty dancing wasn't stopped immediately.
The attorney for the plantiffs says they have experienced emotional distress.
The next step in the process for the suit is videotaping depositions which will be in a few weeks.
