A storm over the Bahamas in conjuntion with high pressure over the Southeast states will generate strong cold winds through tonight with Wind Chill Advisories in effect from 7PM until 9 AM Wednesday Morning.
The developing Bahamas storm means stronger gusty northwest winds 25-35 into Wednesday. The overnight lows will be in the low to mid 40s, BUT, with strong gusty northwest winds 25-35 mph Wind Chills will be in the 20s and 30s by sunrise Wednesday morning! Wind Chill Advisories mean you should protect tender plants and vegetation from the cold damaging winds. Also, bring the pets in from the strong cold winds too!
Extremely rough surf and waves developing too with waves 8-10 feet tonight and up to 12-14 feet tomorow. Small Craft and high Surf Advisories for all our local beaches from Sebastian to Boca Raton. A Gale Warning has been issued for the offshore waters. The winds and seas will decrease on Thursday.
