When the weather gets colder, skin can dehydrate faster.

Licensed aesthetician Denise Fuller shared some tips and advice on how to protect your skin during the winter.

Fuller, Founder of NASNPRO will also host more than 100 spa owners and licensed aestheticians for an annual training event this Sunday.

This event empowers business owners with information about cosmetic industry trends, cutting-edge news and procedures, in order to assist them with their practices and businesses. Local aesthetician and Cortiva Institute instructor Sherry Taylor will be honored with the Industry Influencer 2018 award.

“Having this national event here is a prestigious accolade for this area, especially since The Palm Beaches is renowned for having such world-quality spas, beauty salons and resorts,” said Denise R. Fuller, founder of NASN and NASNPRO. Fuller is also a licensed aesthetician. “We are bringing 25 top skin care and spa companies from around the United States to Boynton Beach.”

NASNPRO started in 2004 with 20 aestheticians, as a simple meeting to connect and collaborate with each other. NASNPRO has grown to a leading aesthetic network with more than 10K members offering scholarships, member benefits and 7 educational conferences in the United States.

Tips to Winterize your skin

Find a personal facial trainer aka licensed esthetician for monthly treatments to maintain healthy and happy skin. You can't go and workout once and be fit. Your skin needs continuous attention as the seasons change.

Don't go to bed without removing your makeup. Home care is self care!

Look for hydrating products with key ingredients:

Aloe and Hyluronic Acid

Aloe Hydrating fluid with Lavender

Avena (Oat) kernal and Algae Extract

GlymedPlus Beauty Oil

Porcelainization Effect

Creates tighter, brighter, trans-formative skin

Red Caviar enzymes and Tripeptides

Transgenesis Limited

Stay hydrated and just because temperatures are cooler wear sunscreen.
