WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) - The scene in "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" featuring now-President Donald Trump was cut from a Canadian television channel's recent broadcast of the film, CBS News reports.

Twitter users watching the movie on the CBC during the holiday season pointed out that the scene, which shows Mr. Trump walking through the Plaza Hotel in New York City, didn't appear.

A CBS-owned comic book website reports the Canadian broadcaster acknowledged cutting the scene, saying it was edited to allow for a commercial break.

Viewers were divided with the cut scene.

Some slammed the broadcasters, calling it censorship.

While others were pleased he'd been cut from the iconic holiday movie.
