Boca Raton's PGA Tour Champions event gets title sponsor

BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) Professional golf is sticking in Boca Raton.

West Palm Beach-based Oasis Outsourcing is the new sponsor for the now-named Oasis Championship. There is going to be an official announcement later Tuesday morning. But the event has all ready branded the new tournament with their new name all over their online platforms.

The tournament lost title sponsor Allianz last year, and the future of the event in Boca Raton was in doubt if it could not find a new sponsor.

Last year the event did not have a main corporate sponsor, and was known as the Boca Raton Championship. The PGA Tour Champions event features the best golfers in the world over the age of 50 - John Daly, Bernhard Langer and Rocco Mediate have been among the big names to play the past few seasons.

The tournament is held at the Old Course at Broken Sound in February.
