Wellington resident and professional golfer Brooks Kopeka is giving back to his community to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.

The Cardinal Newman grad posted on Instagram that he's donating $100,000 through the Brooks Koepka Foundation to the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin County's COVID-19 Response Fund.

"The COVID-19 Response Fund will strategically deploy resources to community-based organizations that are working with communities disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus outbreak," the Community Foundation says on their website.

According to their website, the Community Foundation builds a charitable endowment that meets the changing needs of the community.
