Kevin Benjamin, a Glades Central alum, has been traded to the Buffalo Bills.

The Carolina Panthers receive a third and seventh round pick in the 2018 NFL draft in the deal.

In Buffalo, Benjamin will be reunited with Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott and Bills General Manager Brandon Beane. Both previously worked in Carolina.

Benjamin has had a productive season in Carolina, with 32 catches for two touchdowns, and a Panthers-best 475 yards this season.

At Glades Central Benjamin was named First Team All-Palm Beach County by Sun-Sentinel. During his senior season Benjamin had 30 catches for 551 yards with six touchdowns, in just eight games.

The former CBS12 Athlete of the week also caught the game winning touchdown pass from Jameis Winston in the 2014 BCS National Championship.
