Delray Beach tennis star Cori 'Coco' Gauff is starting a new quest at the U.S. Open.

Her grandfather tells CBS12 News he hopes she'll take everything she's learned from her training days at Pompey Park, and during her historic run at Wimbledon, to come up on top in New York.

For every match at Wimbledon, the 15-year old's family hosted a watch party at Paradise Sports Bar, owned by her parents.

Eddie Odom, Coco's grandfather, says the family will likely watch the match from home. He's just excited to see her on the court again in another grand slam event.

"She has a chance to make history again," he said. "Every time you win, it's history. Every time you compete, it's history. You won't necessarily win every time, but as long as you give everything you have, leave it all on the tennis court, that's what we teach in our house."

Coco will take the court after 3 p.m. The schedule can be found online.
