Dwyer High School signs 18 students for National Signing Day

18 Dwyer students sign on Signing Day

18 students from five different sports put their names on the dotted line on National Signing Day at Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens.

Drew McKenna signed to play lacrosse for Dean College in Massachusetts.

Lexi Bolton will be playing soccer for the University of Texas at San Antonio and Jayden Matthews for Cornell University in New York.

Nicole Collins is signed to play softball for Clarion University in Pennsylvania.

Baseball players Danny Lynch signed to the University of Southern Mississippi, along with Ruairi Murphey for Jacksonville University, and Charlie Von Werne for Lehigh University in Pennsylvania.

The school also signed nine football players to play at different colleges: Justin Birchette for Ohio University, Lubens Ervil for Jacksonville University, Javon Hubbard for Gannon College, Andrew Kasten for Drake University, Jeff Martini for Florida Institute of Technology, Brendan Parr for Keiser University, and Cephas Smith for Hutchinson Community College.

Seniors that will be staying local this next year for college are, Stone Flanery to play Lacrosse for Lynn University, Taylor Hansel to play softball for Palm Beach State College, Ryan Wimbush staying close for baseball at the University of Miami, and Dalton Hustad to play football for Florida Atlantic University.

Football player Cameron Jonas is the 19th student of Dwyer’s signing class, but he has already enrolled at Syracuse University.
