A virtual town hall was held on Saturday and nearly three-quarters of the 125 athletes who participated said they would like to see the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo postponed.
The International Olympic Committee responded on Sunday and the IOC is giving itself a 4-week deadline to decide if it will postpone the games.
On Tuesday the BOA, the British Paralympic Association and UK Sport will host a conference call with the chief executives and performance directors of summer Olympic and Paralympic sports.
The IOC also said cancelling the Olympics entirely is 'not on the agenda' but a scaled-down version is being considered.
As of right now, the Summer games are set to begin July 24th.
