A newspaper in Tallahassee is reporting Jimbo Fisher is leaving Florida State University to take the head coaching job at Texas A&M.

According to sources to the Tallahassee Democrat, Fisher will not coach this weekend. The Seminoles play the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks in Tallahassee on Saturday.

Fisher, in his eighth season with the Noles after taking over for legendary coach Bobby Bowden, won the 2013 National Championship, two Orange Bowl titles and three consecutive ACC Championships from 2012-2014. He had the highest winning percentage in the ACC going into this season, where Florida State is struggling with a 5-6 record.
