As NFL teams look ahead to next season with the this week's draft, high school football teams are doing the same thing.

Spring football starting practices Monday all around the state of Florida, and for many of our local teams, that means new coaches, starting up in some new places.

Like at Cardinal Newman - Joe Molina takes over as head coach. It might be his first chance to call the shots, but he's certainly comfortable at Newman. Molina is a Newman graduate and spent the last five years as the line coach at Dwyer. Monday Molina said learning from Jack Daniels, plus having all ready touched base with Newman's former coaches Sam Budnyk and Steve Walsh, have him ready for his first shot as a head coach.

Molina says the expectation in Year One, is to get the Crusaders to the playoffs.
