As the Miami Dolphins prepare to wrap up their preseason in New Orleans on Thursday night, Dolphins fans are eagerly anticipating Head Coach Brian Flores’ decision on who is going to be his starting quarterback to start the regular season.
Flores indicated that his quarterback decision got tougher after an impressive performance from second year NFL quarterback Josh Rosen last week against Jacksonville, so it stands to reason that Rosen has an opportunity against the Saints to make Flores decision even more difficult. 15 year veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been suffering from an illness this week, and did not practice on Wednesday, so third string quarterback Jake Rudock is expected to see most of the playing time.
Former Port St. Lucie high school star, and Fort Pierce native, Albert Wilson said this week that he’s practice with both quarterbacks, and would be satisfied with any decision Coach Flores makes.
“I’m comfortable with either one,” says Wilson. “I feel like I can speak for the team when I say they are comfortable with either one. They’re doing a great job of competing with each other and going out there in the preseason and just competing. Whichever one coach chooses, I know it’s going to be the best decision. We’re just ready to roll.”
