The Wellington High School basketball team did it again. For the third time in four years, they are headed to the state semifinals, but this time they're on the pursuit of perfection.

Wellington is a remarkable 30-0 - the team was motivated all year to get back to states after they lost in the semifinals last year.

Head Coach Matthew Colin's crew would love to add another state banner this weekend in Lakeland. They've reached this point, not worrying about that pristine record, instead, it's been a laser focus on what matters most, that's lead to their success.

Wellington plays Miramar Friday night at 7pm in Lakeland. The Wolverines are looking for their second title in the last four years. They're led by a strong group of seniors that includes Nico Toledo, BB Williams, Joe Philistin and Texan Moulton.
