The show will go on! South Florida’s largest waterfront music festival is making a comeback.

SunFest 2022 is set to take place this spring after organizers were forced to cancel the multi-day music and arts festival for the past two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Even though the event is still months out, the city is hoping to drum up excitement leading up to its big return by hosting the Clemtatis By Night Mini Music Fest.

The second of four-concert series will take place Thursday night on the great lawn off of Clematis Street.

That’s where three bands will perform, all got their start in South Florida.

Thursday's lineup features Citizen Badger and Chemradery.

Citizen Badger is set to play at 6 p.m., followed by Tabitha Meeks at 7:20 p.m. then Chemradery will finish the night off at 8 p.m.

In addition to live music, the Mini Music Fest will include large-scale lawn games, craft beer selections, selfie stations, SunFest trivia and giveaways, and more. General attendance is free.

The Mayor of West Palm Beach Keith James says there will be COVID safety protocol in place like hand sanitizing stations and social distancing will be encouraged.

The two other countdown to SunFest 22’ concert dates are January 20th and April 7th.

SunFest 2022 will be held from April 28th through May 1st.
